How to Void a Tax Certificate

When a Tax Certificate is made in error, it needs to be voided. It is only possible to void UNPAID Tax Certificates. Follow this guide to void an erroneously created Tax Certificates.

1. Click the MORE dropdown on the main TaxOffice 4 page. Click the Tax Certificate option. 

2. Check the Unpaid box, enter a Start and End date, an account or certificate number, and click the SEARCH button.

3. Click the VOID button. If it is grayed out, it means the Tax Certificate has a payment against it.

4. There will be a confirmation message that the Tax Certificate has been voided.
