How to clear the Edge Browser Cache

Sometimes the browser caches an incorrect username and tries to automatically log a user in with that incorrect username. Clearing the cache will remove the incorrect username from the stored cache, so a new attempt to log in can be made. In addition to that reason, sometimes the cache stores an incorrect spelling of a website or an older version of an application that can cause an assortment of errors. Clearing the cache will remove the outdated version of the application from the memory of the browser.

NOTE: Be sure to clear the cache of the computer's default browser.

1. Click on the "three dots" on the upper right corner of the Edge Browser Bar.

2. Choose "History" from the dropdown menu.

3. Click the "three dots" in the History option.

4. Choose the "Clear browsing data" from the History dropdown menu.

5. Choose "All time" under Time range from the Clear browsing data Menu. Click "Clear now" button.
